The love of my life

My better half.  My one and only.  The man who stole my heart.  I bought him this book for Christmas a couple years ago.  Each page had his picture photoshopped into the illustrations and it incorporated our names into it.  Sir Nick and Lady Evelyn.  Classic.  The girls love it.

She's up!!!

Well, it happened a couple weeks ago.  Our little baby decided that she's ready to be up off the floor.  She's ready to go cruising.  It was pretty much the day she turned 8 months old that she started walking around, holding onto furniture.  With older sisters who carry her around the house, I would have thought it would take a lot longer for her to develop leg muscles to stand up.  Not the case.  She's up.  And she's loving it.

Berlyn has a new game.  She pretends to be a baby.  And she gets a binkie to suck on, thinking it can just be a fun game we all play.  I'm on to you, my sweet little girl.  Give me the binkie. Game over.

Don't get all judgy, but...

the day after Talullah's party, we played hookie from church and stayed in bed until past noon.  It was heavenly.  The kids had pizza for breakfast, and there were no regrets.  Sometimes, life just gets you down.  And it's so hard to get up again.

Happy birthday, Talullah Arianna!!!

Wow.  Pinterest made it look so much cuter.

Cousin Gillian.  And her care bear.

Summer made an aquarium snow globe!

Mae and her balloon.

Ariel joining the party was a surprise.  We didn't tell Talullah!

Caitlyn did amazing face painting!  And I'm multi-tasking like a pro.

All the princesses.  Other than Adon and Orion, all the boys refused to go in for this photo op.

What do you think she's wishing for...?

She's six!!!

And, the whole family
Well, my oldest daughter just turned six.  A few weeks ago, she was crying in the middle of the night and I reached down to pick her up and I could not lift her body more than a couple inches off the ground.  It was more than just lack of sleep that nearly made me burst into tears.  When did this happen?  She's too heavy for me to carry.  Talullah is such a sweet, beautiful little girl with a soft heart.  She caters to her baby sister Amberlie on a daily basis.  She is quick to comfort the other sisters if I am upset with them.  She loves to read and do arts and crafts.  She is such a joy to be around.  While it's sad to see that baby face mature into a little girl, I truly look forward to watching grow up.
