My littlest bookworm.

Don't blame it on me!

She cries, looking so distraught.  Like I'm the one who locked her under the kitchen sink.  No, my dear.  While I'm making dinner,  Havanna creates chaos by tearing through the bag of recyclables that we keep under the sink.  She throws all the trash onto the kitchen floor at my feet as I rush around stepping over everything while I try to cook.  Of course, I could just put a lock on the cupboard.  But where's the fun in that?

My Littlest Petshop

My dear friend Teresa passed down Grace's MLP toys to the girls.  An entire bag full of teensy, tiny, itsy bitsy animals and accessories that Talullah just ADORES.  She packs it all up in her overnight bag and carries it with us wherever we go.  To church?  Of course.  To the store?  Oh yes.  To Nana's?  Obviously.  One of Nick's best skills is playing pretend with the girls.  He has a thousand different voices for different characters.  He utilizes every piece of furniture in the living room to set up a scene.  When I come home from my 4 hour shift at work, this is how I find my family.  Sprawled out on the floor in their land of make believe.

Birthday Decor

I just had to post these pics back from Havanna's birthday.  I thought it all turned out so cute.

Let's Go!!!!!!!!

Berlyn is such a daddy's girl.  We were stuck inside for FOREVER with the flu and finally we ventured outside to get some much needed fresh air.  Nick got the barbie jeep out and little B cruised a few laps around the drive way before we all had to head back indoors.

Pretty as a Princess

Happy 1st Birthday, Havanna!!!

Havanna is ONE.  I can't believe it.  When Talullah turned one, I was pregnant with Berlyn.  At Berlyn's first birthday party, we announced the pregnancy of Havanna.  And now, my little baby is one, and she REALLY is the baby.  My precious little girl, so sweet and happy and full of belly laughs and slobbery kisses.  She's almost walking, has just broken through her 6th tooth, weighs in at 22.5 pounds, and loves her big sisters.  Even though she has only slept once through an entire night (until 5am), she manages to make this exhausted momma laugh every single day.  If I have to bet on her personality type, I'd venture to say that she is going to be quite the class clown.  Even as I type this, she sits in front of the floor length mirror, just checking herself out and having a blast.  She tilts her wobbly head to one side, tucked to her shoulder, and she puts on her big, silly grin, with her eyes squinted to half moon slits.  We love you, Havanna Banana.  We can't wait to watch you grow, but we sure do love these baby stages.
