Papa Time

Today is my mom and dad's 36th year anniversary!  What an amazing couple.  They are still giddy like school kids on the playground, holding hands and making goo-goo eyes and one another.  They're best friends.  I am so happy that I've had a wonderful example to look up to for what marriage can and should look like.  I've never seen my parents scream at each other.  I've never heard them curse at one another.  They bicker, of course, like every other human being.  But they daily display sincere love in their words and in their actions.  I love my parents dearly.  I can't imagine not having the close relationship that we share, and I'm blessed to live just minutes away from them so that my girls can soak up all of the love and affection that 'Papa and Nana' pour into them.  Happy Anniversary!
As a side note, my dad stopped by and took the girls into our hot tub.  After an hour I had to force them all to climb out.  I was able to get all of the cookie dough made for our cookie decorating party tomorrow!  Hooray!
