I thought, since it's a new year and all, we'd see if Berlyn wanted to join Talullah in gymnastics. Boy, did she look so sweet in her pigtails and leotard. She seemed excited about it, too. She ran right out with the other kids as they took laps, acting out animals sounds. About ten seconds in I think someone might have bumped into Berlyn. Or maybe she bumped into someone. She burst into tears and came running back to her momma. We learned that today is not the day for her to begin classes. I'm taking a wild guess and saying next week probably won't work either. You'd better believe that I'm going to keep on trying, though. Soon enough I'll have TWO big girls contained for an entire hour (55 minutes, anyway), and... who knows. Maybe I'll grab a cup of coffee, or something. With just one baby on my lap. Ahhhh. A mother can dream, can't she?
